About Me.

Aidan Siemann is a saxophonist and composer with a positive, powerful presence on the bandstand. As an award-winning musician, Aidan has performed internationally with his own groups and as a sideman, from big bands to intimate duos. He has performed with modern jazz legends such as Terri Lynne Carrington, Orrin Evans, Warren Wolf, and Ettiene Charles, performing at venues like SFJazz and Jazz at Lincoln Center.

Growing up in Seattle, WA, Aidan began playing piano at the age of 7, then took up the saxophone a few years later, quickly becoming immersed in the world of music. He continued pursuing his musical journey at Garfield High School, where he won awards at the renowned Essentially Ellington Jazz Festival and the YoungArts Competition. Aidan attended the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, studying with masters such as David Sanchez, Matt Brewer, and Joshua Redman. He was selected to attend the JAS academy in 2024, and was awarded 3rd place in the Vandoren Emerging Artist Competition in 2025.

Aidan currently lives in New York City, where he frequently performs with his own groups such as Ripple Æffect, just friends, and the Aidan Siemann Quartet.
